Young people are vital to the growth of any congregation and Holy Trinity offers activities during the week for primary school children, and families are welcome to Sunday services, with a DIY creche facility for babies and toddlers, and Sunday school for age 4 upwards.
Messy Church & Abbey Gang
Families looking for ideas for fun time on Fridays can join in with two children’s monthly activity clubs.
Abbey Gang, for Primary 3-7 children, and Messy Church, for pre-school to Primary 3, are in the Trinity Centre, High Cross Avenue, from 12.30pm – 2.30pm. See dates on the right.
Families can enjoy a soup lunch together, followed by stories, activities and crafts for the children. As the groups are family based, with parents included in the sessions, older or younger siblings are also welcome, and families can attend both sessions if they want to.
The groups offer a great opportunity for children to engage with some of the stories from the Bible, which are so much a part of our culture, in a way which is fun for young people.
A Sunday School meets during the 11am services for four-year-olds and primary school children.
There is a play area at the back of church for younger children, who are welcome to stay in church during the service.
