Amending Holy Trinity's Constitution
Two extraordinary meetings have now been held for the congregation to discuss a new constitution for Holy Trinity
We are required by the General Synod to have a constitutional document and Holy Trinity’s was last updated and approved in 2013. Vestry members have discussed and agreed various amendments in order to produce a new draft constitution.
These amendments have now been discussed and approved by the congregation at two separate extraordinary meetings: on Sunday 11 April and Sunday 9 May. Documents and opportunities to comment have been made widely available.
The current and draft constitutions are available to view and download, along with an explanation of the changes proposed. The minutes of the two extraordinary meetings are also available to download.
A request will now be put to the Bishop to approve the new constitution.
