Music

Music is one of the purest forms of praise and we welcome all kinds of musical worship at Holy Trinity, including classical, hymn singing, praise services and much more.

Our Director of Music is Chris Achenbach, who is developing music in the liturgy and life of our church.  This includes pans for a children's choir and a calendar of concerts and organ recitals.

Choir

The choir at Holy Trinity is small in number, but members play an important role leading the congregation in the musical worship of the church. New members always welcome.

Choir practices are held in the Trinity Centre on Thursday evenings from 6.00 - 7.00pm.

Anybody that is interested in choral singing is welcome to join the choir for choral evensong on the 1st Sunday of the month. The rehearsal is at 4.30pm for a 6.30pm service.

Children of all ages are especially welcome. There are activities at the back of the church for you to use.

Most Sundays there is the opportunity for the children to go to the Trinity Centre during the first half of the service for activities appropriate to their age.
Sunday

We have one regular Sunday service:

  • Sung Eucharist at 11.00am

Tea and coffee are served in the Trinity Centre next to the church after the 11am service, where you will be assured of a warm welcome from our congregation.

Evensong

Choral Evensong is on the 1st Sunday  of each month,  at 6.30pm.

Holy Communion

Holy Communion is celebrated in the Trinity Centre every Wednesday at 11.00am.

On the 1st Tuesday of the month, at 2.30pm in the Trinity Centre there is an informal communion service followed by tea and cakes.
