Music Notes...

 

Music is one of the purest forms of praise and we welcome all kinds of musical worship at Holy Trinity, including classical, hymn singing, praise services and much more.

 

Taize Services

A Taize service is held on the last Wednesday of every month, at 7pm, and all are welcome.

 

We also welcome anyone who wishes to come along and play an instrument - the music is very simple.  If you would like a copy of the music please email contact.holytrinitymelrose@gmail.com. There will be a short rehearsal for all instrumentalists who wish to take part at 6:30 pm, immediately prior to the service.

Please let us know if you are coming, so that parts can be arranged.

 

Choir

The choir at Holy Trinity is small in number, but members play an important role leading the congregation in the musical worship of the church.

In addition to the regular Sunday morning Eucharist services and the monthly Choral Evensong services, the choir members are called upon to sing at various special services throughout the Church Year, and also at Wedding and Funeral Services.

Choir practices are held in the Trinity Centre on Thursday evenings from 6.00 - 7.00pm.

New members are always welcome.
